Common Faults of Floor Scrubbers

  1. Brush Disc Not Rotating (1) Check whether the brush disc motor is damaged. (2) Check whether the brush disc is tangled with foreign objects (iron wire, rope, etc.). (3) Check whether the brush disc buckle is damaged. (4) Check whether the battery is dead or low on charge. (5) Check whether the brush disc switch is damaged.
  2. Machine Does Not Move (1) First check whether the battery is fully charged. (2) Then check whether the speed control switch is turned to the minimum, which causes the machine not to move (check whether the switch wiring is loose). (3) Check whether the brake is engaged, preventing the machine from moving. (4) Check whether the accelerator pedal switch is damaged. (5) Check whether the drive motor and travel motor are broken.
  3. The Scrubber Cannot Be Charged (1) Check whether the charger is damaged and whether the fan is rotating. (2) Check whether the battery is low on charge. (3) Check whether the charging connector is damaged. (4) If the customer is in the north, the battery may be in sleep mode due to low temperature, which prevents it from charging.
  4. Low Water Output of the Scrubber (1) Check whether the clean water filter screen is blocked by foreign objects. (2) Check whether the water volume adjustment switch is set to the maximum. (3) Check whether the water outlet holes are blocked. (4) Check whether the solenoid valve is damaged. (5) Check whether the clean water tank has sufficient water. (6) Check whether the scrubber has sufficient power (for the situation where the scrubber does not discharge water).
  5. The Scrubber Has No Suction or Does Not Pick Up Water (1) Check whether the suction motor is running and whether the suction motor switch is broken. (2) Check whether the vacuum hose has suction. Disconnect the end of the vacuum hose connected to the squeegee and test the suction with your hand. If the hose has suction, check whether the suction port of the squeegee is blocked by foreign objects, or check whether the rubber squeegee blade is not touching the ground, deformed, or corroded. (3) If the vacuum hose has no suction, disconnect the hose and test whether the connection port to the recovery tank has suction. If it has suction, check whether the vacuum hose is cracked or blocked by foreign objects. (4) If the connection port to the recovery tank has no suction, first check whether the drain hose cap is tightened or whether the drain hose is damaged. Then check whether the recovery tank cover is deformed and whether the sealing ring is damaged or fallen off, to prevent a poorly sealed recovery tank cover from causing the scrubber to not pick up water. (5) If none of the above is the problem, open the recovery tank cover and check whether the filter screen at the suction motor air inlet is blocked by sludge. Note: The above are common faults. In actual operation, troubleshooting does not necessarily follow the above order — it should be judged according to the actual situation.
